TIPS TO A WELL-ORGANIZED CLOSET
So, you’ve been so busy lately and haven’t had time to arrange your wardrobe; your wardrobe is a big mess and you don’t know where to start from. Here are a few ways you can get your wardrobe looking organized and in shape.
1. EDIT YOUR WARDROBE
Editing your wardrobe has to do with grouping your clothes from the most worn to the least worn, long dresses one side and the short ones on another side, etc.
2. CHOOSE THE RIGHT HANGER
This is one factor that is often ignored. Using one type of hanger makes things faster and easier; you won’t be torn between using one type of hanger for your dresses and another type for your skirts/trousers. You won’t have to waste time trying to decide on which would be best for which kind of outfit. Also choose hangers that properly hold clothes in place and not have them droopy or make them
drop when you shove between clothes.
3. SORT OUT YOUR DRY-CLEANING
Do not leave your dry cleaned clothes in the dry cleaning bags no matter how beautiful the bags look. Let them go! If you’re worried about your clothes getting dirty or dusty again, there are other ways
to protect your clothes from dust. Dry cleaning bags occupy a lot of space and make your wardrobe look full and tacky.
4. FOLD STRETCHY CLOTHES
Clothes that will stretch out of shape should be folded over the hanger or kept in the drawer alongside your undergarments.
5. KEEP ACCESSORIES ON HOOKS
Bags, belts, ties and scarves are best kept/hung on hooks or racks.
