THEY ARE WEARING: LEG OF MUTTON SLEEVES

| March 21, 2020 | one comment

The puffy sleeve trend has been around for a while and not going away anytime soon, not when more interesting versions of it like the Leg of Mutton Sleeves are beginning to spring up.

This trend derived its name for being shaped like the leg-thigh part of a meat. The ‘Mutton’ there being a meat from sheep. The sleeves are puffy at the anterior part but fitted and long at the posterior end. The puffier, the better the overall look. Also, the longer the length of the puffy part, the better. The posterior end definitely needs to be long to be termed ‘a leg of mutton’ sleeve.

This Victorian-styled sleeve is suitable for both formal and casual wear. Do you have one in your wardrobe?
