NIGERIAN MODELS ARE NO LONGER LOCAL CHAMPIONS
Before now, there was only a handful of Nigerian models with international portfolio – Agbani Darego, Oluchi Orlandi, Bunmi Ademokoya, etc; we could count them. Fast forward to today, when we have quite a number of home-grown models taking the international scene in full force, modelling for top fashion brands in Europe and America, and appearing in top fashion magazines (local and international).

While the country is still in its infant stage of embracing and appreciating models in terms of paying them well and making use of them in adverts aside runway, some of these models are on the spotlight in the international scene, making a living out of their modelling career and no longer local champions.

Their modelling agencies are also doing well in taking their career to the next level and we applaud their efforts. We hope to see these models rise to the rank of models like Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Alek Wek, Grace Jones, and the likes.
